SIZE MATTERS
When it comes to choosing a bag, this can be based purely on aesthetic aspects.
But it's hard to imagine that - perhaps only subconsciously - the question of need doesn't also come into play. The dimensions and carrying mode should be right.
Because life is constantly changing and needs are very variable, EVA BLUT proposes bags that can be adapted to changing needs. This means in SIZE MATTERS in particular: the changeability of the size - the transport volume.
And this works in different ways:
Small can be turned into large - or vice versa.
Or an extension volume can be added - or removed again. This is made possible with lightweight, thin nylon.
‘Mono-dimensional’ models are realised in different dimensions but still resizeable.
Many new shapes makes it possible to take a laptop to work, but in the evening - when it is not needed - to go to the cinema with a small bag (which is the same). No need to swap bags.
EVA BLUT moves along functional baselines. However, we follow them experimentally, which leads to surprising solutions whose aesthetics suit contemporary users.

Miriam Hamann, Dimensions of the Unseen
Miriam Hamann's sculptures and installations are rooted in a deep fascination with the natural sciences and their influence on our understanding of the world. She focuses on the systems and structures that shape our reality and questions their supposed linearity. At the same time, she points to the fragility of those moments when supposedly stable orders begin to falter.
In her current work, Hamann focuses on geometric models and explores the relationship between perception, knowledge and the order of space. In doing so, she draws on both historical mathematical constructions and current theories.
The installation Dimensions of the Unseen deals with Euclidean and hyperbolic geometries. In ancient Euclidean geometry, there is exactly one parallel line through a point outside a straight line; in hyperbolic geometry, there are infinitely many.
By taking up attempts at visualising them and reinterpreting them, the work makes abstract structures visible as light drawings and at the same time refers to the construction of knowledge about the world.
